Here we are finally at the gates of spring! In my opinion the TOP season for hiking in Sardinia. Days, which have already started to grow few minutes a day since winter, are slowly becoming longer and allowing us to fully live experience on our mountains.
Woods and fields double their scents, making every experience unforgettable with their added value. But let’s get to the thousand experiences that can we live in Sardinia during this spectacular period of the year!
As for all the other seasons of the year, it continues to be possible to test yourself on one of the many via ferratas on the island, such as the Via Ferrata della Regina (Monteleone Rocca Doria) or the Via Ferrata di Giorré (Cargeghe) , but also on one of the two via ferratas on the island of Tavolara, which outside the summer season are even wilder and more enjoyable.
Speaking about trekking, this is the perfect season for long crossings, therefore GTG (Grande Traversata del Gennargentu) and GTS (Grande Traversata del Supramonte) above all! But clearly also all the short hikes like Punta Corrasi, Tiscali, Cala Luna, Capo Caccia. You’ll be spoiled for choice!
Regarding canyoning activities, all depends on the rainfall of the period and, in any case, if you are not an experienced canyoneer, during our spring I suggest starting with a dry-canyoning experience. Among my proposals, in the “canyoning” section you will find many ideas and suggestions, such as the always valid Codula Fuili (Cala Gonone) or Badde Doroné (Oliena).
For each of these proposals you will find detailed forms and links to the appropriate websites, but if you need more info do not hesitate to contact me via Whatsapp or on the contact page form.
