The limestone promontory of Punta Giglio has one of the most characteristic geographic features of the coast of Alghero and the Parco Naturale Regionale di Porto Conte. Its spectacular cliffs, overlooking the cobalt blue sea, and the wild natural environment provide the scenery in which it is possible to enjoy this beautiful half-day excursion.
It is a not particularly tiring, 8.5 km long round trip with an elevation gain of only 180 meters, which can be covered in just over 4 hours.
The beginning and the end of the hike is situated at the beach of Polt’Agra and during the excursion we will also visit the stunning ruins of the military bunkers of the Second World War that are located at the end of Punta Giglio.
