Via Ferrata Kit Rental
On byIf you need one or more kits for Via Ferrata, you can rent it for one or more days.
The Via Ferrata kit is composed by a harness (one size adjustable), a helmet (on size) and the double lanyard with shock absorber (>40 <120 kilos). The kit does not include gloves.
It’s important that before using the kit you know how to progress safely on a via ferrata and that you have the right knowledges about the via ferrata you want to climb.
The rental cost is 20 euros per day for a single kit, or 15 euros per day for each kit if you rent more than one.
For example: the rental cost for 1 kit is 20 euros, the rental cost for 2 kits is 30 euros total, and so on.
At the moment the delivery and returns point for the kits are located in Monteleone Rocca Doria (for the Via Ferrata della Regina), in Cargeghe (for the Via Ferrata di Giorré) and on the Tavolara island. Alternatively you can collect and return kits in the city of Sassari.

- Check the availability of kits for the location and the date you decided to schedule.
- If available, fill out the online form and, at the same time, pay via PayPal.
- You will then be informed about methods for collecting your kit(s).
- Check kits carefully before using them.
- At the end of your excursion please return the kits to the same place.
- Please report any anomalies or doubts regarding the kit you used.

Please note that the rental of Via Ferrata Kit is independent from the success of the excursion, so I suggest you first to check the weather or, for example, ferries to Tavolara Island, and plan your excursion well, because in no case the rental fee is refundable, not even in cases of failure to collect.
